Goals
- To improve existing public transportation system by introducing a new mode called Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). BRT systems, which offer the same efficiency and service as the traditional light rail transits but at much lesser costs, have emerged as a public transport mode of choice in developing countries to achieve better air quality and a more sustainable public transportation system.
- Find alternative source of transportation due to rising cost of fuel. Specifically, non-motorized mode of transport shall have to be prioritized to eventually link all suburban ares by bicycle lanes and to eventually integrate this bike route system to a central transport facility located strategically within the central business district.
- Find alternatives to shift from private car usage to public transport usage
