Goals

  • To be capable of transferring and extending risk management training from Colombo to other cities in Sri Lanka
  • To improve the safety of the population when natural disasters or industrial disasters occur
  • To be able to foresee, anticipate, prevent, and to respond  to natural disasters
  • To create a “pro-active process”

Expectations/needs towards PRO ACT

  • Transfer of know-how
  • Enhance technical and managerial skills/aspects through support
  • To promote more interaction and exchange practices
  • To analyse whether the different donors/funding agencies would consider the project eligible
